10. Inspiration is all around

~ Written by Danielle N. Bilski ~

It has been a little while since my last post, but I am still as motivated as ever!

I am currently in a life stage of self reflection and of new possibilities. Everyone experiences significant events in their life that perhaps questions who they are and how they see themselves. It can be quite difficult and everyone deals with things differently.

Over the last few months I have felt a lot of intense emotions and as a writer, it can be a very positive experience to find inspiration, whether it be from the most horrible moments to the most fantastic!

I have always found it easier to express myself in writing and have realised that it is better to focus the negative emotions into positive writing, so as not to make myself and possible readers to feel even worse. Of course negative emotions are sometimes no more than negative emotions and it can in fact be positive to recount them in order to learn from them and to help others who can relate to the same feelings.

The point I am trying to make is that I am always trying to stay as conscious and aware of things around me, how I interpret them and am effected by them and how others may be feeling. Inspiration is all around and over the last few months in particular, I have experienced more highs and lows than I ever have in such a short period of time. I have been conscientiously writing down ideas and I am slowly beginning to consolidate them into meaningful formats for others to enjoy.

I have learned: Keep your eyes, your heart and your mind open to the world and it is amazing the profound experiences that you will live and share with others. Everyone’s life is a journey full of choices, some which you make and some which are made for you. The secret is to make positive choices for yourself and learn from those choices which you would, in retrospect have made differently.

Positivity is infectious!

Value your time with yourself and with others. Thank you for sharing your time with me. © 2009 Danielle N. Bilski
