170. akhila (poem)

~ Written by Danielle N. Bilski ~

If I was still her,
I would blame the world for the pain
she carried here.
She let it go:
to be
flowing + growing + free.
Akhila

If she still believed we are just a fragment,
I could pretend they hold power
I should fear.
She let them go:
to relinquish
shame + ego + permanency.
Akhila

In becoming all she has ever been,
I discovered the Sanskrit word for whole
is akhila.
We are one:
to give
light + love + energy.
Akhila

Every moment I reawaken,
a path through her suffering
is clear.
I carry her inside of me:
to live
learning + seeing + Being.
Akhila

I Am.
Now is all there is.
We are always complete.

akhila : you
akhila : me.
akhila : we.

So it is.
